Le projet porte sur la confiance numérique dans le cadre de la collaboration Homme-machine. Le concept de confiance numérique est à comprendre comme l’assurance d’une personne qui se fie à quelqu’un ou à quelque chose. Quant au numérique, il renvoie à la conversion d’informations en données chiffrées. En réalité, il est un fait social total (Marcel Mauss, 1924), dans la mesure où l’utilisation d’outils et de logiciels numériques transforment plusieurs dimensions de la vie courante (Proulx, 2005). La confiance numérique est donc la confiance des individus dans les artefacts technologiques. Dans le cadre de ce projet, nous nous focaliserons sur la confiance dans les systèmes d’intelligence artificielle. Nous inscrivant dans le périmètre francophone, nous essayerons de voir à travers le regard de différents experts, comment les disciplines SHS peuvent éclairer la question de la confiance en l’intelligence artificielle.

The project deals with digital trust in the context of human-machine collaboration. The concept of digital trust is to be understood as the assurance of a person who trusts someone or something. As for the digital, it refers to the conversion of information into encrypted data. In reality, it is a total social fact (Marcel Mauss, 1924), insofar as the use of digital tools and software transforms several dimensions of everyday life (Proulx, 2005). Digital trust is therefore the trust of individuals in technological artefacts. In this project, we will focus on trust in artificial intelligence systems. Within the French-speaking world, we will try to see, through the eyes of various experts, how the SHS disciplines can shed light on the issue of trust in artificial intelligence.
