The role of the MSH

Dedicated to the incubation of innovative projects, the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme de Bordeaux brings together researchers and teacher-researchers from all disciplines and non-academic actors in the construction of a shared interdisciplinary research space.

Its scope is therefore not limited to just the human and social sciences (SHS) and languages, letters and arts (LLA).

The MSH is based on an interdisciplinary co-construction approach, particularly at the interface between humanities, social sciences, life sciences, environmental sciences and even engineering sciences. It is also part of a participatory process involving field stakeholders and citizen groups.

It encourages collaboration with other French partners associated with other MSH in the national network, but also with foreign partners relevant to the proposed research object.

The Call for Young Researchers

This call aims to support young doctors and recent winners of the Habilitation to Direct Research (HDR) at a key moment in their career. Eligibility criteria Criteria required to make the file eligible for evaluation

For young doctors (thesis obtained less than four years ago at the date of publication of the call), the aim is to help them start their research career at a time when they no longer benefit from the environment of doctoral schools. and where they risk being monopolized by their teaching loads. The funding aims to enable the establishment of a think tank or network, or to promote publication practices.

For recent HDR winners (HDR obtained less than four years ago at the date of publication of the call), the AAP aims to help them build their scientific project. Proposals must either be a continuation of the HDR project and explain how they do so, or highlight an effort at innovation compared to the previous trajectory. The aim is to encourage the submission of a Regional, ANR or European project in the short term (1 to 3 years). Obtaining co-financing is recommended.
