16th JORRESCAM: Body techniques, Martial Arts and Combat Sports: from everyday life to the Olympic and Paralympic Games

The themes of body formation, discipline, technique, habits, and other practices embodied in the production of subjects and social institutions have become important interdisciplinary themes in the biological sciences, the biosciences engineering, social sciences and humanities over the last decades.

During these Days, we wish to bring together researchers from as many academic and non-academic fields as possible to exchange ideas, arguments, hypotheses, theories, methodologies, research and results in the fields of martial arts and combat sports, on the themes of body techniques as well as that of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, from their daily use in the field of leisure and lifestyle to elite competitions.

We invite submissions of 300-word abstracts for 20-minute presentations on body techniques, martial arts and combat sports, in any field of scientific research, such as social sciences, physiology, philosophy, history, biomechanics, human sciences, management, etc.

Note: The two main themes of the conference are body techniques as well as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, but any theme related to combat sports and martial arts can be considered.

Abstracts and communications can be submitted in French, English or Spanish.

During the conference, oral communication may be in one of the three official languages ​​of the conference and the support (slideshow, video, other, etc.) must present, at least, a language different from that of the oral communication.
