What data?
The PUD aims to promote the use of quantitative data from French, European and international public statistics. They bring together survey data but also administrative data, always documented and often enriched with metadata.
French data
On a national scale, the Quetelet-Progedo-Diffusion constitutes a platform for disseminating French data in the human and social sciences to the research community.
It provides access to over 1500 datasets and associated metadata. The data disseminated via this portal by ADISP-PROGEDO (Archives of data from public statistics), INED ( National Institute of Demographic Studies) and CDSP (Socio-Political Data Center) are accessible, free of charge, to French and foreign researchers, doctoral students, post-doctoral students, and students who request it.
The CASD (Secure Data Access Center) allows researchers access to confidential data on companies and individuals in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
To do this, it provides a terminal, the SD-Box, designed to allow remote working in high security conditions. Access to confidential data requires making an access request to the CASD. The PUD can explain and support you in the process of accessing data.
European and international data
