For the successful running of the event that you are organizing at MSH Bordeaux, we ask you to respect the conditions of use of the Jean Borde Room made available to you.

  • General use occurs during opening hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (access from 8:30 a.m.).
  • This space is subject to the Labor Code and public regulations.
  • The invitation and welcome is done under your responsibility requiring your presence 20 minutes before the arrival of your guests and after their departure.
  1. Definition of premises made available

The Jean Borde Room (ground floor, access for people with reduced mobility) is a room dedicated to research seminars, conferences, symposia, with a maximum regulatory capacity of 70 seats.

Unless contraindicated on your part, MSH Bordeaux may also communicate the program of events to its mailing list.

  1. Insurance / Health & safety

In the event of damage or accident, you will be responsible for covering participants and equipment brought or used on site.

You will need to ensure that it is working properly and take out protection if necessary.

You must respect the safety standards in force in your establishment and within MSH Bordeaux, inform your supervisory authorities in advance if the nature of the event requires it.

It's forbidden :

  • to smoke on the premises;
  • to eat, to bring hot and alcoholic drinks;
  • to introduce anything prohibited by law or labor code regulations;
  • to place equipment: in the aisles provided for circulation and evacuation of the public, in front of the emergency exits.
  • not to block emergency exits, to leave them closed and to only use them in the event of an emergency evacuation (an outdoor assembly location will be indicated to the Organizer).
  1. Before the event, you agree to:
  • manage a registration system making it possible to establish a list of participants and possibly maintain a signature list;
  • familiarize yourself with the premises before the event in order to be able to direct participants there;
  • provide people to welcome your participants and organize yourself so that they can access the premises independently during opening hours (if necessary, provide a reception agent);
  • arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled arrival of participants to prepare for the welcome;
  • take all measures to ensure that participants only use the reserved rooms and annexes made available for the event;
  • respect the reception capacity of the Jean Borde Room;
  • respect the powers allowed by the electrical supplies.
  1. At the end of the meeting, you will need to:
  • collect all waste in the containers provided;
  • put away the equipment and clean the room provided;
  • put the Jean Borde Room back in order (check that the audiovisual and IT equipment is correctly turned off; check that the room shutters are closed; check that the lights are turned off);
  • vacate the premises ready for next use at the end of your reservation slot and no later than 7 p.m.
  1. Material made available
  • ZoomBox . The instructions for use are made available to you on the device.
  • Video projector . The room is equipped with a VGA cable connecting the computer to the video projector.
  • 2 portable wireless microphones.

MSH Bordeaux does not provide computers; you will need to bring your equipment – ​​laptop or Mac (with adapter) and, to be connected to the ZoomBox, you will need to ensure that they are connected to the Eudoram network – 1 wired connection is available.
