Nathalie Jaëck ^19th British literature at Bordeaux Montaigne University. She is a specialist in adventure literature. She has published two works, Charles Dickens. Writing as power, writing as resistance (Paris: Ophrys, 2008) and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: a matter of identity . Bordeaux (Passac: PUB, 2008), as well as numerous articles on Doyle, Stevenson, Dickens, Conrad, Stoker. After directing the CLIMAS Research Unit for 10 years, she is currently Vice-President of Research at Bordeaux Montaigne University.
