Nathalie Gauthard is an ethnoscenologist, university professor in Performing Arts at the University of Artois, founder and president (2007-2020) of the French Society of Ethnoscenology. After a double qualification in section 18 of the CNU (Performing Arts) and 20 (Ethnology-anthropology), she continued her research on the presentation of traditions on a local, national or transnational scale, the processes of heritage (PCI ), learning and techniques of the actor's body, contemporary stage aesthetics. She continues to reflect on “invisible heritage”, the notion of care in actor training, and artistic creation in the light of environmental concerns. She is also publishing director of the Revue L'Ethnographie. Creation, Practices, Publics (MSH-PN-USR3258) since 2017.
