Thematic call maturation

The urban planning and culture sectors are increasingly using storytelling as part of their professional practices.
If this recourse to the arts of storytelling as deployed by different forms of artistic creation becomes more and more frequent, the issues and protocols of this “storytelling” are hardly analyzed. It is therefore a question of creating the conditions for a meeting between scientists, professionals and students of culture and urban planning and to deploy scientific and operational questioning on the issues and methods which govern the uses of narrative in these different professional fields. In partnership with the Grand Cognac conurbation, this project is based on the establishment of two seminars and a practitioner-researcher workshop on the one hand, and on the other hand, an interdisciplinary educational workshop which will take place between October 2022 and January 2023. Keywords: narratology, urban planning and spatial planning, culture, heritage, Grand Cognac
