Dominique Pacot is a CNRS Research Engineer, secretary general of the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme in Bordeaux. A management computer scientist by training, he joined the CNRS in 1999 to serve as human resources manager and then deputy to the Nord-Pas de Calais and Picardie regional delegate until 2005. Through internal mobility, he successively became administrative director and financial officer of the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies (IEMN – UMR 8520) in Villeneuve d'Ascq from 2006 to 2012 then in Lille, administrative coordinator of the LABEX European Genomic Institute for Diabetes (EGID) and secretary general of the eponymous research federation from 2012 to 2017. After being head of the PreciDIAB University Hospital Institute project, he joined the I-SITE Université Lille Nord Europe foundation in 2018 as secretary general and also worked there from 2020 the mission of project manager for the construction of the University of Lille 2022.
