The Steering Committee (CoPil) :

This committee is responsible for defining the strategic orientations of the MSH Bordeaux and their implementation. It examines any question relating to the general organization and functioning of the UAR.

The members of the MSHBx CoPil with deliberative voice are:

  • Nathalie Jaëck , Vice-President Research, Bordeaux Montaigne University;
  • Lionel Maurel, Deputy Scientific Director for MSH, InSHS of the CNRS;
  • Matthieu Montalban, Co-Director of the CHANGES department, University of Bordeaux.

With advisory voice:

  • Didier Breton, Director of the MSH of Strasbourg, representing the national MSH network;
  • Younis Hermès, Regional Delegate of the CNRS, Aquitaine Delegation;
  • Sandro Landi , Director of the MSH of Bordeaux.

CoPil secretariat provided by Dominique Pacot , Secretary General of the MSHBx.


The Scientific Council (CS) :

Meeting several times a year within its walls, its role is to define the general policy of the structure, but also to study and validate the projects proposed in the annual calls for projects.

His missions :

  • Formulate proposals and comments concerning the general scientific orientation of the MSH;
  • Issue opinions on research carried out in the MSH;
  • Assists management in defining and implementing the MSH's scientific policy.

The CS can be consulted on:

  • The general organization, scientific activities, projects and areas of research;
  • The expertise and selection of scientific projects specific to the MSH.
