HDR lecturer in French literature, Alexandre Péraud is a specialist in romanticism and realistic novels. In this capacity, he reflects on the relationships between literature and science, paying particular attention to the way in which the literary text and the economy interact in the 19th and 20th centuries and has dedicated his accreditation to directing research to the economic story (18th - 20th centuries ). He directs his work towards questioning the value of spiritual goods. These questions join a second step in his academic and professional commitment in the field of culture. After creating the master's degree in Cultural and Intercultural Project Engineering in 2010, in 2016 he founded UBIC, a unit dedicated to action research in the fields of arts, culture and cultural industries.
