Professor of Information and Communication Sciences at Bordeaux Montaigne University, Alain Kiyindou holds the UNESCO Chair in Emerging Practices in Technologies and Communication for Development, Honorary President of the French Society of Information Sciences and communication. He has published numerous works on information and communication technologies in relation to developing countries, co-wrote the OIF report on the state of the digital Francophonie 2018 and coordinated the Unesco reports on the evaluation of indicators of internet universality in Benin, Niger and Ivory Coast.
