Heavy shelling, ruinous to her alma mater, occurred three times. As a result, many campus buildings and the University Maksymovych library were damaged. From the very first days of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the university has never stopped working although there have been many challenges to tackle, such as air alarms and power cuts. The educational process which was resumed online on April 1 has never stopped since. Teaching and learning under these adverse conditions are considered by both teachers and students a form of resilience, an educational front in this war.
