The Rare Diseases Foundation is launching its eleventh call for projects “Human and Social Sciences & Rare Diseases” which aims to better understand the individual, family and social consequences specifically linked to the rarity of the disease and to increase knowledge on the specific impact of these diseases in terms of disability and quality of life (support needs, activity limitations, restriction of social participation, personal rights).

This call for projects will provide support to:

  • pilot projects or project extensions, lasting between 6 and 18 months, for a maximum budget of €30,000. All rare diseases of children and adults are concerned;
  • projects focusing on cystic fibrosis, with a maximum duration of 36 months, for a maximum budget of €120,000.

The objective of the call for projects is to improve the life course of the people concerned and those around them, from the search for a diagnosis to care and support.

The submission deadline is May 11, 2023, 5 p.m. (Paris time).
