Context and objectives

As part of its Bordeaux University Data Platform (PUD-B), the Bordeaux MSH is offering its first “ Data SHS ” week from December 5 to 9, 2022, an event organized simultaneously by all of the Bordeaux University Data Platforms. the TGIR Progedo. Involving various user profiles (engineers, study managers, doctoral students, researchers from different disciplinary fields) and data producers from the Bordeaux site, this week includes a series of presentations and workshops aimed at promoting the use and reuse of data in SHS. It also aims to encourage good practices around their production, use and dissemination.

Audience

This program is aimed at researchers, teacher-researchers, engineers and technicians, as well as doctoral and Masters students, from the SHS laboratories on the Bordeaux site.

Themes

The main themes chosen for this week of conferences and workshops are:

  • Open science and GDPR;
  • Use and represent localized data;
  • Examples of treatment for the analysis of questions of conjugality and marital careers, questions of income and consumption;
  • Using quantitative data in research on language: the example of three disciplinary approaches;
  • Process the longitudinal dimension of the data;
  • Use quantitative data.

Participation is free but requires prior online registration on Evento .

The presentations will take place in the Jean Borde room of the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme de Bordeaux, 10 Esplanade des Antilles, 33607 Pessac (DRC).
The workshops will be organized in the Urfist Training Room, Avenue Léon Duguit, Pessac – Collège Droit administration building: building. C, span C4 (C4-014, DRC).
